Christian began playing tennis competitively in 2008. He played high school tennis at Belleville East HS in Illinois before earning a scholarship to play at Lindenwood University-Belleville for 4 years. He began coaching college tennis in 2016 as a graduate assistant at Lindenwood-Belleville. During this time at LU, Christian helped turn the men's tennis team into a nationally competitive program and aiding LU-Belleville to its first 2 winning seasons in program history. After obtaining a Master's degree in business administration, Christian continued to pursue higher education coaching at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania where he was the assistant coach for both the men and women's teams. After a short stint at Allegheny, Christian took a coaching position in summer 2018 at NCAA D2 Ashland University in Ohio where he help start a men's tennis program. He coached both the men and women's tennis teams under Lexi Miller (Bolesky). On the women's side, Hamilton assisted Ashland University to their most competitive season in 7 years with a 11-14 record in (19-20). For the men, he helped put Ashland University tennis on the map with both national and regional recognition in the program's first two seasons. There were 2 players ranked nationally for doubles at #17. In addition, he had 10 regional accolades amongst the men's team in the program's first two seasons.
Hamilton became a USPTA certified teaching professional in March 2018. He loves to teach and mentor players by evolving their tennis skills as well as their overall health/fitness. Christian is passionate about tennis and loves to play when he gets the chance. His comprehensive goal is to help individuals, young and old, grow their tennis level and work on their health and fitness in the process.
